The scales are designed for weighing in a static mode of automobile transport, displaying the weighing results on the indicator of a digital measuring device and outputting them to a PC via the RS232 interface. Scales are used in warehouses, bases, quarries, waste processing plants, industrial and agricultural enterprises.
The balance includes components from leading manufacturers, namely: strain gauges ZEMIC USA Inc. (entered in the State Register of Ukraine), KELI, HBM, ESIT. More than 2500 scales were delivered on these components in Ukraine, their reliability is confirmed by many years of trouble-free operation.

Scales are installed at a height of about 40 cm above the level of the roadway and are equipped with two ramps for the exit and arrival of vehicles. The supporting parts (base) of the scales in this case are the strip foundations installed under each pair of sensors.
This installation option does not require a foundation with a concrete bowl, no canopy or storm / drainage construction is required. The flyover foundation is also easy to maintain, as there is constant access to sensors. Another advantage is that the cost of the flyover foundation is lower than that of the pit foundation. In addition, this installation option is more convenient for servicing the balance, as it provides easy access to the sensors.
Slight disadvantages of this design are the lower throughput of the balance (a longer weighing time for one vehicle) compared with the balance made on the same level with the roadway.

With the fundamental version of the installation (in the pit), the weighing platform of the Scale is on the same level with the surface of the road surface - access roads. In this case, the supporting elements are located in the pit, and do not protrude above the ground surface as in the flyover version.
This installation option does not require ramps and side rails, which significantly reduces the area occupied by Libra and makes it easy to maneuver upon arrival. Also, the pit version of the installation is effective for a large flow of cars per day (for example, a round-the-clock flow of cars), because due to the lack of the need to enter and exit the ramp, time is saved and the throughput of the scales increases.
The disadvantage is that moisture can accumulate in the pit, which requires regular cleaning, as well as the construction of a canopy and reliable storm / drainage. As a result, the cost of manufacturing a pit-type foundation is higher than the flyover.

The scales are mounted on a prefabricated foundation of reinforced concrete road / airfield slabs, which are mounted on a sand-gravel cushion.
This installation option is convenient for seasonal work (eg harvesting), as the scales are easily dismantled and transferred to a new installation site together with a prefabricated foundation, which saves significant funds compared to the need construction of a monolithic foundation in a new place.
The disadvantage of this type of foundation is the need for service at least 2 times a year, because in contrast to the monolithic foundation, the base of which lies below the freezing zone of the soil, prefabricated foundation slabs have the property to sag over time.


The flexible connection of the modules ensures even load distribution. Weighing accuracy remains high regardless of the location of the load on the platform. The error is not more than 0.1%.

The opinion that digital sensors are more accurate than analog ones (or vice versa) is absolutely incorrect. It all depends on the tasks that are planned to be solved with their help. The characteristics of the sensors are determined by the accuracy class. For analog and digital sensors of the same class, the accuracy will be the same. And it does not depend on the type of signal transmitted. But in electronic scales, digital sensors will have a clear advantage in the case of: - The need to remove the weight terminal at a distance of 100 to 1000 meters from the scales; - Protect your business from outside interference in weighing readings; - Protection against sources of interference and distortion, if any, such as powerful power lines.
