Feedback from PJSC “Kiev River Port”

At the end of November 2016, PJSC “Kiev River Port” contacted us with the need to install truck scales as soon as possible.
Having accepted the application for work, the plant specialists prepared a detailed project, having previously ascertained the client’s need.
When selecting a truck scale, our experts clarified information on the type of transport that will go through the scale (the length of the scale depends on it), the flow of vehicles (to determine the maximum weighing limit), the installation location (inspection of the site where the scales were planned to be installed was carried out by a plant specialist) . Also, the plant’s specialists paid special attention to the study of soil features, since the option of foundation construction depends on this.
After clarification of all the necessary information, a model of truck scales of the continuous type 18m 80t and execution of the flyover variant of the foundation were agreed.
The customer provided the consumables for the manufacture of the foundation (concrete, reinforcement, etc.), which in turn reduced the cost for the client. The foundation work and the installation of truck scales was from the specialists of the Kiev Weight Plant.
Difficulties in this project were associated not only with weather conditions, but also with heavy traffic near the place of installation of the scales.
Since it was impossible to block the movement, the manufacturing plant and the customer found optimal solutions for adjusting the arrival of vehicles for transporting building material, taking into account the movement of vehicles across the enterprise.
Due to the responsibility of both the client and the manufacturer, the truck scales were installed on time. December 27, 2016 was the official opening of truck scales at the Kiev River Port enterprise.
